“We are the best location for a bike store that almost anyone can really ask for,” said Sam Wolf, owner of Trailside Rec
Wolf started mountain biking about ten years ago and said it was the “forever thing” he really liked.
He started working at ERIK’S Bike Shop in Grafton when he was 16 and spent about five years there.
He said: “This is a job I really enjoy.” “It’s a great environment, and you will meet a lot of great people.”
He said that when Wolf’s store opens, it will focus on rental and service of regular and electric bicycles. Wolf plans to open the store before March 10.
Regular bicycle rentals are $15 for one hour, $25 for two hours, $30 for three hours, and $35 for four hours. Wolf predicts that an entire day will be the most popular option, at a cost of $40, compared to $150 a week.
The rental of electric bicycles is US$25 for one hour, US$45 for two hours, US$55 for three hours, and US$65 for four hours. The cost for a whole day is 100 dollars, and the cost for a week is 450 dollars.
Wolf expects cyclists to stop when they need repairs, so he said the goal is to be able to take care of them “very quickly.”
The store will also offer a service/maintenance plan of $35 per month, which includes most adjustments such as shifting and braking. Wolf pointed out that the cost of parts is not included.
Wolf plans to sell a “pretty good selection” of bikes in stores by May, but he pointed out that availability across the industry has been low. Many bike shops in the Milwaukee area report that sales during the coronavirus pandemic have hit record highs.
For ordinary bicycles, the store will sell a small amount of ready-made goods: bicycle company bicycles. Roll also provides “make-to-order” bicycles in which customers can choose a frame and then customize their riding. Wolf said that the price of ro-ro bicycles is usually between US$880 and US$1,200.
Wolf plans to introduce regular Linus bicycles in the summer. He said these bicycles are “very traditional” but have a “modern feel.” They start at $400.
He said that for electric bikes, the store will be equipped with gazelles, and for “high-end” options, there will be BULLS Bikes. The “most common” price is between $3,000 and $4,000.
In addition to bicycles, this store will also carry lights, helmets, tools, pumps and its own casual clothing brand.

During the pandemic, Wolf studied finance at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) and briefly worked in a bank. However, he said that he “didn’t enjoy it like ERIK.”
He said: “It makes sense to pursue what I really like.” “You don’t want to spend your whole life doing things you don’t like.”
Wolf said that his uncle, Robert Bach, owner of P2 Development Co., helped him develop a business plan for Trailside Recreation and introduced him to the store in the Foxtown South building.
The Foxtown project is led by Thomas Nieman and Bach, the owners of Fromm Family Food.
Wolf said: “It’s great to miss the opportunity.” “The business will be very suitable for the development.”
In order to reach the bicycle lane from the store, customers cross the rear parking lot. Wolf said that a
